The phone call that Rey last received was traced to the switchboard of Agora Publishing, the parent company of Stansberry’s firm where Rey was earlier employed. The search continued for more than a week until Rey’s car was found parked in a parking garage near his work place which was adjacent to the Belvedere Hotel.
Discovery of the Body
After days of searching, Rey’s car was found in a parking lot near his workplace with a parking ticket which indicated that the car was parked on 16th of May 2006, the day Rey Rivera disappeared. According to Alison Rivera none of Rey’s personal belongings other than a cash clip were missing, Which Rey used to keep in his wallet. A few months after Rey’s death his wife found a mysterious note taped behind his computer table, the cryptic note contained Freemasonry quotations, several movie titles and names of prominent public figures.
